It's the Blogger's Quilt Festival week! Each quilter can enter two quilts in the festival and it's so fun browsing through all the entries. There are so many talented quilters. I wanted to be a part of all the excitement.
You can see more pictures and read all about the creation of this quilt here.
Please visit the Blogger's Quilt Festival and be inspired by all the wonderful entries. Amy does a fantastic job every year hosting this event.
What an excellent theme for a quilt. It obviously suits the recipient perfectly. It looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThank you! While all quilts are unique, I especially love adding those super personal touches that can only be appreciated by the recipient.
DeleteThis is so fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It was lots of fun to make, especially for a family member who inspires me in so many ways.
DeleteI love the way some of these cameras are photographing things!
ReplyDeleteYes, that was the fun part of scrap busting this project. All kinds of subjects wanted to be photographed!
DeleteLove the cameras and the colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks! The only criteria I was given is that it needed to have lots of teal. Since I was using stash, the quilt ended up covering most of the cool color spectrum, which adds some nice variety.
DeleteI love this quilt and I'm sure Raven does too.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes, I think she likes it. I was not there when she received it, but I heard she may have teared up a little.
DeleteWhat a perfect quilt for your niece!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
